First interview with my recruiter was great - she was super prepared and knowledgeable. Asked me thought-provoking questions and gave me suggestions on what to expect in the next interview and what to prepare to make sure I'm on top of it.
My second interview wasn't booked until 8 days after my first one, really dragging out the interview process. At the end of a 45-min second interview (which I thought I crushed), I asked the interviewer if she had any hesitations about moving me forward or any concerns about my candidacy that I could address live on the call with her. As an Account Manager, this is crucial to demonstrate you know how to close and objection handle. I was shut down and told that this is not how they run their process. That I will need to wait until my recruiter reaches out to me, and she will provide me with detailed feedback and next steps. As a leader in sales/AM, I assumed my interviewer would anticipate this and be prepared for the candidate to ask this type of question at the end.
Detailed feedback was not received from my recruiter (no feedback was received at all) and I only got a rejection email from a "no-reply" address 3 days later. Annoying and sort of disrespectful, but not the worst thing ever. So it's fine.
