Enefit Green interview questions

I applied online. The whole process took almost 2 months. The first round was a video call with HR [30 min], and later had a video call with the Software development head [1.5 hours]. General questions about projects I have worked on and people management. Later, HR asked about my work permission. I am not an EU citizen, but at that time I had 3-year of a working permit in Estonia and did not require any visa sponsorship, which could be extended later easily. And later, after asking to provide 2 weeks later, HR told that they have to say no due to the fact that there is a risk that after 3 years, my work permit could not be renewed.
