Only one technical round of 1 hour. It was all verbal and related to smart contract system design - pretty unique. I was also invited later for a feedback call after rejection which I really appreciate.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EigenLayer
Interview
Initial call with the lead tech recruiter. Hiring manager call, then a technical call. I'm guessing a follow up call with the VP of other ranking member of the team before there is a final decision.
Do not submit a bug bounty. Unless it is perhaps blockchain specific, they will use your security research and then claim that your submission is invalid. Immunefi will also not honor the claim either.
This is not a company that practices what they preach sadly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The lead blockchain engineer asked about DNS security and S3 bucket security and how I would go about securing their cloud posture. Mind you, they will want you to talk about API security and how authorization/authentication works but they will not prompt you. In my interview, they said that I lacked knowledge of API authorization/authentication but they failed to ask, so I conclude this as being a interviewer failure.
