Did have a phone call interview with the chief since I’m a Florida resident. Took approximately 3-4 week to schedule an interview and it wasn’t difficult. If you pass phone call interview, you will do an in-person interview shortly after.

Interview
Typically a phone interview for out of state followed by a schedule oral interview with a written test. They will also have you teach something like steep turns. If that is passed, a flight interview in their aircraft.
