I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at EF (Education First) (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I applied online. They were pretty quick with getting back to me. Then they contacted me via email to setup a Skype interview. They gave me two types of lessons. I had to choose one and then look over the questions to prepare for the interview. The interview process was fairly easy. At the end of the interview you can ask them questions about the job. You can either teach kids and teens or adults. After the interview I heard back from them within 5 days congratulating me and offering me a job. After that you set a date you would like to leave for China. Between that time you have to get 2 reference letters, a visa, get a local police check, a physical, get your TEFL (which they pay for you to take), and sign all documents they need you to sign.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EF (Education First)
Interview
In-person interview after emailing resume. Sat in a lobby with others to interview, which wasn't too stressful all things considered. The interview is pretty easy if you have any EFL experience.
30 minutes phone call screening then in person interview with a panel. Friendly and encouraging interviewers. Overall the process took about 2 weeks from when I applied to when I had my final interview

Interview
So easy it was more like a sales pitch. Be prepared to talk about experience with children. It was over zoom, so have good internet.
Be confident.
