There were three interviews over the course of 4 weeks. A project was required for the third interview. Very straightforward process. I appreciated that. My recruiter communicated well every step of the way. Always responsive. Interviews felt organic, but always stayed on task.
First interview was a phone screen with the recruiter. 30 minutes. Pretty standard topics. Why I’m interested, why I’m leaving my current company, compensation, ideal work environment, etc.
Second was a phone interview with the chief architect. 30 minutes. This one was more about technical and culture fit.
Third interview was on-site with a team of four. 90 minutes. I was given some data to analyze beforehand. The first 60 minutes I presented my findings on the project data. The interviewers were fully engaged and asked good questions about my process, problem formulation, etc. The final 30 minutes were a 1:1 with the R&D Lab Lead.
This was unarguably one of the best interview processes I’ve been through. I really felt I was a valued prospect every step of the way.
