I applied online. I interviewed at Dynamic Yield in Dec 2024
Interview
I went through a structured and thorough interview process that included:
1. Recruiter interview
2. Hiring manager interview – Focused on behavioral questions
3. Role-play exercise – Presenting a kickoff meeting, completing a homework assignment, and a quick debugging and task prioritization challenge
4. Director interview – Behavioral questions
Everyone I met during the process was kind, which surprised me given some of the previous reviews. The technical task was challenging for me as someone from a non-technical background, but it should be relatively easy for those with technical expertise
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dynamic Yield (New York, NY) in Mar 2020
Interview
Applied on LinkedIn, followed by a phone interview with the Hiring Manager.
After that, I had a home test, and presentation on site.
One a very big negative thing about the interview. They booked me for 3 hours, when I arrived to the office, no one welcomed me. I just sat there. After the presentation and my first meeting approximately 80-90 minutes into my interview, Hiring Manager told me what I am lacking and probably not a good fit to the position. Basically, I could not even speak with the other interviewer and just walked out by myself. I thought that was weird. Besides being rejected this way, leaving as if you are nothing wasn't the best experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Home test was to check candidates HTML, JS knowledge and to read the data onpage.
Onsite interview was combination of technical questions as well as personal skills.
