I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Duke Energy (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2019
Interview
Got the job interview through a hiring agency. The interviewer claimed I wasn't professional enough, but specifically told me it was an informal interview. Even with that information, I still maintained a very professional demeanor. Got the impression that he just wasn't interested, being that he only talked about the position for majority of the interview and only asked me 1-2 questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Duke Energy (Huntersville, NC) in Jun 2018
Interview
I submitted my resume via a contract company. The hiring manger, reached out, set up a time to do the interview on site. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door because of security reasons. I met the whole team briefly, then was escorted to a conference room. There was the hiring manager, the budget person and a Sr. PM present. They asked me a straight forward interview questions about how I would the job, what my personality was like, etc. They told me they had 2 more people to interview and would be in contact in few days to a week. The hiring manager called for one more over the phone interview. I received a offer a couple days later. Started 2 weeks after that.
