Standard technical screen. But the final stages were immensely stupid with low-quality interviewers that seemingly don't know how to prep valid questions. There was some nepo hire that thought a good interview question was "tell me exactly how you would build this RTC chat channel I spent 6 months trying to figure out how to build . GO!" was somehow a relevant interview question rather than testing knowledge of basic CRUD, serialization, etc (which was the intent of their question somehow ....) and the entire staff seemed super duper impressed by this utterly absurd line of questions claiming "just wait until you get to X: everyone says she has a tough question" because the rest of the interview was painfully boring. And, to make it even worse, directly before that I was informed there wasn't a coding portion and I didn't need to have an environment prepped for this stage. Incompetent.
