Interview
Four tech rounds: All of them are video calls only.
Round 1 - Hackerrank coding round(given 90 minutes, completed in 35 minutes. it was very simple)
Round 2 - Tech round taken by a guy from Ukraine. He was late for the interview after I waited for a long time. But he was polite and apologised for being late. He gave a very simple and general problem statement, I answered it.
Round 3 - A gentlemen from Canada took the round. He asked me to create a todo app in one hour. He is interested in the approach and not expecting the complete app which was fair and I did that.
Round 4 - Design Round: Generic and open-ended questions were asked like folder structure, performance, security, etc. I answered all of them since I already had done these for my current company which we built from scratch and gave webinars for the developer community on these topics as well.
Then comes the surprise. No response for two days. No response to my mail. Didn't respond to my calls. Then got a mail saying I didn't clear the interview. I honestly thought I'll get the job. They didn't provide the reason or feedback for that even after I asked them multiple times. They are very unprofessional. Please don't waste your time.
To management: Try to respect the candidate's time. I have spent more than 5 hours and you don't want to spend even 5 minutes to give feedback. If I need to improve on something, I'll be happy to do that. Please don't waste the candidate's time by doing these cheap things.
