I applied through My careers future. The process was pretty fast and easy with the HR. She asked basic interview questions and was nice when providing documents and details needed for the next interview phase.
i noticed the first major red flag with the boss 🚩🚩 when discussing about the salary.
I was sketched out when they told me that i have to transfer back a portion of my salary back to them every month till my contact with SkillsFuture ends. I believe they placed me "under Skills Future program". As we all know they(skills future) pay the company and the company is to give us(the employees) that amount. Now, what THIS company do is transfer the employee the full amount that was given by Skills future(using the company's bank account to track record that a full transfer was made). BUT, i have to transfer a portion BACK to the the boss's account because FROM MY UNDERSTANDING, skills future is giving more salary than what i'm supposed to(under this company's contract). Make that make sense? Are they taking the access amount? Because to me it doesn't.
And 1 more thing, The boss told me to not mention it to Skillsfuture incase they call for a wellness check, and the fresh grad clown i was agreed.
This went on for 3months i think. Im not so sure if this "system" is still on going, but its something to look out for when applying.
