A recruiter contacted me and the interview was scheduled within a week. Had the worst interview experience of my life. After going through the interview, I am really skeptical about the lateral hiring process for the SAP SD consultant role in Deloitte. The interview was conducted on Teams. The interview was designed in a way that it would be hard to answer the questions without having the SAP turned on. The technical panel was extremely rude and unprofessional. He started the interview asking me to turn on my video, while he kept his own video turned off for throughout the interview - This totally threw me off. Can't believe even after being one of the Big 4 firms, Deloitte still has such people does not even meet the minimum level of professionalism. Also, I don't understand the point of ghosting the candidates, if you have already selected candidates from your personal network stop wasting others time and stop conducting interviews.

I had an HR screening call where the interviewer was about 10 minutes late. He asked me some generic questions about my background and said they’d get back to me in a couple of weeks. Shortly afterwards I received a rejection email.
