Interview
The whole process was lengthy. The beginning had the Telephonic HR round , lasted for 20 min , then 1:1 interview with a manager and Devops Consultant . Then for Second round , a Senior level manager and Consultant interview . I cleared the HR , First 1:1 , but not the second 1:1 . The Senior Consultant was rude , trying to be oversmart and asked to present on whiteboard about all the phases of DevOps cycle and asked questions related to AWS on each phase , which I answered correctly , but its just stupid for them to not qualify for the next round . Very ill-mannered senior . But the another Consultant seemed to be good and kind of told me that the interview was well and will be called for the next round . But seems like there is so much politics in the office . Will never apply again for such a company . Disgusting .
Simple but very effective. The best thing about the interview was how human it felt, it didn’t feel like they were trying to hit quotas but actually trying to get to know me.
First round is technical. Second is managerial with scenario-based questions on production issues, team handling, and decision making. Final round is HR, focusing on salary, culture fit, communication, and long-term career goals.
