I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (London, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
This is a company run by women in 12 inch heels and funeral suits who think discouraging applications from a candidate solely because they're not from the EU empower and represent women in IT. A friend and I met Deloitte during a networking event in Islington and sent in an application. Got rejected after 2 weeks, then immediately sent a request for feedback and tips on how to improve. I had a call from HR a few days later asking me to re-send my application and it will be reconsidered. I did so, only to be rejected again! I still have no idea why that lady even bothered calling me if they'd already made up their mind about me. It would have made sense if I sat some assessment and didn't make the cut but this was based purely on where I come from rather than what I can do with what I know and what I will learn.
