The process started off smoothly with both the recruiter and the hiring manager — clear communication and a good pace overall. After those two interviews, I was asked to prepare for presentation that simulated an email/call scenario with the Director of Customer Success. The goal was to demonstrate how I would handle different situations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
One red flag for me was during the conversation with the Director — they mentioned that several employees had recently left after only a few months due to the heavy workload and long hours. It also seems that the PEO side of Deel is still in the early stages of development, and while the team is growing, there doesn’t appear to be much structure in place yet.
Overall, the interview experience itself was fine, but I would have appreciated more concrete feedback afterward.

Question 1
Give and example of how you handle a bug related issue that caused issues for the client.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Deel in Sept 2024
Interview
I had a total of 6 interviews, met with the hiring manager twice and the rest was Team leader, head of, director of CS. There was a home assigment that took 2 days to do. The interviews were all the same questions over and over, there is no communication. The time in between interviews was short, but after I met with the last manager I was ghosted for 2 weeks and had to send an email. After getting the "The decision is pretty made from our end on your favor" on my last 2 interviews, I just received a generic rejection email.
In the interview they already tell you that you'll need to work more than 8 hours a day without pay, that it's a very demanding job and that it's not "your typical 9 to 5". Also they indirecly asked me if i had kids and about my personal situation, as they wanted someone that could be exploided lol

Interview
The interview process was incredibly fast! First, I spoke with HR, who explained that the process consisted of three interviews – and it was exactly as they said. The second interview was with the hiring manager, and then with the group product manager.
It was super quick: on the same day as the first interview (a Thursday), I was already told I'd move to the second round. I had the second interview on Monday, was told on Tuesday I'd proceed to the third and final one, which I had on Wednesday. That very same afternoon, I received the email saying the position was mine!
