      Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took around 3 weeks. I interviewed at broadbandchoices.co.uk in July 2016. 3 stages: 1. Phone screening with Senior Project Manager. I was asked to answer a few UX related questions about a website as well as my design process and experience. 2. Interview with UX Designer, Lead Designer, Senior Project Manager and Senior Product Manager. I was given to complete a task prior to the interview. During the interview, I presented my approach, process, and solution of the task as well as had a chat about my experience, portfolio, design thinking, and design process. 3. Interview with CEO, Head of HR and Product Engineering Director. The last stage of the interview was about cultural fit, motivation and communication skills.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Decision Tech in Jun 2015

      Interview

I went through a number of stages and felt like they made an effort to keep me up to date on the progress I was making. During the interviews I met with many people that I would be working with closely and a "real life" design task gave me a good understanding of what it would be like to be working there. 1) Telephone screening interview, I was asked to talk through a website and what good UX meant for me as well as my design process, any tools I use and how I work and communicate with stakeholders. 2) Interview at the office, I met with the senior designer, a product manager and a project manager. we talked through my past experience, projects that I had worked on and my portfolio. 3) I came back to the office briefly to receive a design task and had a chance to ask questions before starting. 4) Came in to meet with the same group of people a few days later and talk through what I did in my task and any decisions I took in the process. 5) Final interview with CEO and HR manager for cultural fit and general communication skills questions.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked a number of technical UX process questions as well as a number of behavioural questions, for example talking through challenging situations
