I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dealer Inspire in Jul 2024
Interview
I had a screening interview with the recruiter. Then we proceeded to an interview with 3 supervisors for the department. Since I currently work in the industry I was able to stay confident through out the interview and answer all of their questions related to supporting car dealership websites. The end of the interview felt good, the recruiter then informed me that the manager above the supervisors wanted to interview me. He wanted to know why I would go back to a position if it's entry level. I told him the pay was right and I have a lot of experience supporting websites and i could always work my way back up. I really thought I nailed all interviews. This manager even told me that due to my family situation, that I would be receiving the standard 9-5 M-F shift that normally goes to tenured employees. He also stated I would be hearing back before the end of the week (it was a Monday). Then they ghost me for 2 weeks. I decided to reach out to the recruiter to see why and to let them know that I was still excited about the position and they replied with their standard "decided to hire other applicants" email. Meanwhile, the job is still posted to the company's career portal.

Question 1
Tell me about a scenario where you had to use an innovative solution for a customer
It was very easy and just asked basic frontend questions like html, css, and vanilla javascript. Some react questions as well but it was about virtual dom, hooks, state management, props, etc.
