Attended a group interview for the receptionist role at David Lloyd Glasgow West End. There were around 100 candidates present with only 3 staff members running the session, which made the process feel very impersonal and disorganised. There was little to no opportunity for individual introductions or meaningful interaction, making it difficult to demonstrate experience, personality, or stand out in any memorable way. Overall, it felt more like a large recruitment event than an actual interview and didn’t feel respectful of candidates’ time.

Group interview process which is an unusual way to recruit for this type of role - had us doing group activities, drama performances and presenting back to class so it isn’t for anyone shy!
