I had a total of six interviews, including the initial one with the recruiter. After the sixth interview, I didn't hear back after several weeks. I reached out and was told that they're working through end of year planning and don't actually know if they have funding for the role - but they'll keep me posted. At this point - I was pretty over the company (and wouldn't want to work somewhere like this). I heard back 7 months later via an automated rejection system.
