Prepare to a long process with a number of calls and homework:
1) Initial screening call with Recruiter (30 minutes) - discussed my background, motivation and salary expectations
2) Interview with a Hiring Manager (45 minutes) - also went through my previous experience, role-specific details, team structure, responsibilities, etc.
3) Home assignment (4+ hours, however, it may take significantly more if you want to submit a decent result)
You need to play around with a platform, configure a few things and document everything with references (publicly available documentation), screenshots, logs, etc.
Not that hard but time consuming.
4) Cultural Fit with 2 colleagues from another continent (30 minutes) - just a regular conversation about your past experience + be ready to discuss some project that you're proud of.
5) Technical interview with 2 colleagues from your future team (60 minutes) - sort of a mock troubleshooting session, you can see a terminal and need to resolve 5 different issues (you are allowed to use any documentation)
Tip: during your Home Assignment, install a Datadog agent on any Linux endpoint and check the manual to troubleshoot connectivity issues, it will be helpful.
6) Another call with Hiring Manager (30 minutes, we finished after 10-15 maximum) - honestly, I was expecting to hear their final decision but it was a short Q&A session to address your questions or concerns
