      AI Architect Interview

      7 Dec 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at DataRobot in Nov 2019

      Interview

I applied in September and didn’t hear from them until November. The interview started off with a conversation with the recruiter. I informed the recruiter I was also interviewing with other organizations and told it’s okay because it only takes about 3 weeks to complete the interview process. Another interview immediately followed with the hiring manager of the role. Two and a half weeks went by... it was Thanksgiving holiday week in between. I was proactive and contacted the recruiter after the holidays and informed that feedback was still being collected (I only interviewed with one person...) a few days later I’m contacted by a recruiting coordinator asking to setup another interview for a totally different role... This was completely confusing and no feedback was provided. Also, I couldn’t tell if I applied for this role before or not. After contacting the recruiting coordinator I was informed the Hiring Team decided my experience was more appropriate for a different role. If that was the case then why not tell me and ask me first versus assuming it’s appropriate to schedule another interview for a role I never applied for after taking forever to collect and assess feedback... It’s a total waste of time of both parties. This is a poor HR experience which seems to be the feedback I’ve seen already shared by most negative experiences here on Glassdoor regarding HR. If this is their HR process I don’t want to even know about the Culture.

      AI Architect Interview

      13 Mar 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sydney
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DataRobot (Sydney) in Feb 2021

      Interview

I applied online and recruitment coordinator sent an email to arrange for interview with someone who is kinda like a team leader. The guy was great, all good. Had two other interviews later with other team members, all went well. That said, thus far, I didn’t speak with any recruiter or actual hiring manager. I had no guidance on the interview process, salary expectation, etc. After 3 successful interviews, the coordinator wanted to arrange interview with the recruiter. The recruiter wasn’t available until 3-4 weeks after that. Call with him took 10 minutes, and we ended it when he learned about my current salary and they can’t pay anything even close. So it’s a total waste of time- over a month.
