      HR Assistant Interview

      29 Jan 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Toronto, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DMSolving (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2023

      Interview

I had a great experience interviewing for the HR Assistant position at DMSolving. The interview process was well-organized and thorough. I was initially contacted by the HR team, who provided clear instructions on the interview format and expectations. The first part of the interview involved a discussion with the HR manager, where we went over my background, skills, and experiences. It was evident that the team values collaboration and clear communication, which is important for an HR role. After that, I was asked to complete a skills assessment that included tasks like reviewing employee records and answering HR-related scenarios. It was challenging but fair, and it gave me a good sense of what the role would entail. What stood out the most was the professionalism and warmth of the team. The people I met, including HR staff, department heads, and the CEO, were all approachable and took the time to explain the company culture and values. The interview was more of a conversation than a traditional Q&A, which made me feel comfortable and able to share my experiences openly. Overall, I was impressed by the company's commitment to selecting the right candidate for the role while maintaining a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. I'm excited about the possibility of joining the team and contributing to the company's success!
