DAT Engineering Consultancy Structural Engineer interview questions

The interview was pure technical. The manager initially called into the office to glance over my profile. Then I was given a system and a design project to work on. It was the design of a villa. The architecture drawings were available on drive and I was supposed to start the structural design from there. I proceeded to work on the structural member layouts in AutoCAD and modelling and design using Etabs which took me a full business day. This included everything including lateral load applications (wind and seismic). I was never called back and I don't know why. As far as I know, no one completed the design (at least on the day of my interview)
