It was seemless. The CEO who interviewwed me spoke about the challenges he was currently facing & we spoke for a lengthy time about my skill set and what I can do to bring soultions. Unfortunatley I wasnt chosen but I do see the growth & potential.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
About my management experience & what I did in that capacity for my last company.
Simple, straight forward & fast-paced. I interviewed with 4 different people over the course of 3 days. Everyone I spoke to was a previous founder. Questions were really tough, they were seeking BS answers. I needed data for all my answers
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
"Walk me through a project you did, be as detailed as possible" They proceeded to ask 3-4 follow-up questions
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Curex (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
My initial interview was with the CEO, who contacted me on LinkedIn shortly after applying. The conversation was pretty standard and he seemed like a kind man that sold the company very well. Once moved to the next round of interviews he put the onus on me to schedule my followup interviews with his team. Once that interview was scheduled, it was a meeting with 4 people all at the same time. The initial request was "tell us about yourself" where I went on a long winded explanation of my work history for the last 5 years and the projects I'm currently working on. Then...nothing. None of the 4 people on the call had any follow up questions and once I was done speaking they literally said "ok well this was great have a nice day" and promptly just left the zoom meeting without giving me the opportunity to explain anything further in depth or ask them any questions about the company. It was very clear that none of the people on the call would have much contact with this role and it was abundantly clear that nobody on the team had any interview training. Not a single question from them was asked after "tell us about yourself".
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no questions asked whatsoever. If you plan on interviewing with Curex, I would try to force yourself into a position where they'd pay more attention and give you the ability to ask questions. "Manage up" unfortunately would be my advice to you.
