Interview questions [1]
Question 1
describe your current role and your responsibility in current company.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cubic³ (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2021
Interview
Pretty straight forward interview process:
- interview with hiring manager( he was great ), there were some small technical questions.
- final interview with technical questions related to cv and leetcode problem ( easy)
I got an offer but it was way lower than what i was looking for. Was barely 10% from my current job so i rejected it.
Please make sure you are transparent about these details from the begining and not waste others time.
Thank you very much for your feedback! I am glad to hear you had a positive Cubic experience overall.
Transparency is important to us and we aim to have this throughout our interview and assessment process. This begins with our carefully constructed role profiles, communicating our expected salary range for the role, ensuring there is an alignment with candidates’ salary expectations, and it goes all the way to keeping communication open and free flowing during the interview stages.
We’re disappointed that you experienced a lack of transparency during your interview process and this was never our intent. We really appreciate you offering this constructive feedback and we very much hope you will consider interviewing with Cubic Telecom again in the future.

Interview
50 min phone screen then one face to face.
Face to face was with two people (not the same people from the phone screen). Technical questions, general experience discussions and a white boarding session involving array manipulation.
One of the interviewers was a bit arrogant and I received no real feedback from them which is not great considering the amount of hours spent preparing, talking on the phone, taking half of the day off at work and travelling all the way to Sandyford.
