The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crypto.com
Interview
Got through the first 2 interviews with busy scheduling the 3rd and final interview only to be told that they are having to readjust their hiring policy because they seem to have been too ambitious and now need to have a hiring freeze.
The first interview was just a chat and from that chat I discovered that their engineering processes are incredibly underdeveloped.
The second was a wallet application that shouldn’t take more than 4 hours. After doing all of this they say they would be keen to go to the next round but are waiting on a hiring strategy to be decided on… after all of that effort and they have to redo their strategy plan because they don’t have enough runway?
I asked for more detailed feedback from the interviewers as to get some kind of idea of how I did and not just know I passed the first two stages but now there’s a freeze they have no interest in talking to anyone.
Other companies in the crypto space aren’t in freezes and shows that this company is far too stretched financially and not ready for the Crypto cycles (crypto winters)
