      Software Engineer Interview

      Application

      I applied in-person. I interviewed at CrowdStrike

      Interview

I gave an interview in Pune. The recruiter calls me first and gave brief information about the company. They have taken 5 rounds of interview. 1. In the first interview, they asked for my old projects and what kind of technologies I am aware of. (approx 60 mins). 2. Then I was given a 4-hour coding test to solve 2 problems out of 3. One is the DS structure problem. LRU implementation and the second one were thread implementation and one was again DS i.e stack implementation. 3. The coding round is followed by code review when panelists ask you about the algorithms used in problem-solving and generic code review related questions. (approx 60 mins) 4. They scheduled one more round of Design problem solving, which I solved and the interviewer was happy with the solution.(approx 60 mins) 5. It was manager round and they mainly asked the reason behind the change of company and my interest in work, also gave more details of work and project for which job interview scheduled. (approx 60 mins) After all rounds no update from HR. I called HR back for feedback after 5 days and received a response like they have selected one candidate and that candidate under the interview process which I have done and mostly they will go with that option. I don't know they are really searching for candidates or just showing they have some free job opening in this COVID time.

      Interview

First, HR interview. Then, the technical interview. The interviewers didn't introduce themselves, just 2 people joined the meeting and started the interview. They asked some wrong questions related to technical issues like how to sort an object in Java. It was odd. Finally, I did not have the opportunity to ask them my questions.
