      Technical Account Manager Interview

      7 Nov 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

I was quickly contacted by a recruiter and spoke for around 30 min. Then a second interview with a manager that lasted over an hour. Third interview with another manager that lasted maybe 30 minutes. The entire process took 3 weeks.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Interviews were not very structured - one manager talked a lot about himself and his own experience (I could barely get a word in sideways) and was very friendly, the other was very unfriendly and seemed to fancy himself as some type of stoic which wasn't very impressive. They mainly just talked a lot and gave me a mix of behavioral and just a few technical scenarios - they didn't do a full tech screen or really dive into my technical background. It felt like a good cop, bad cop situation. The stoic manager seemed to have it out for me right from the beginning and wouldn't even give me to time to answer some questions. He was not a pleasant person and I got a bad vibe from him almost immediately.

      Technical Account Manager Interview

      17 May 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Reading, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (Reading, England) in May 2019

      Interview

Found the job posting on LinkedIn so applied via the CrowdStrike talent portal. Had an InMail from the recruiter (CrowdStrike not 3rd party) about a call to discuss. Arranged call for a set time one day only for the recruiter to not show up. It was only when I chased that I was offered a new call the following day. The following day the recruiter called me as arranged. We chatted about my current role and the way CrowdStrike operate. Eventually the call “disconnected” with the recruiter whilst I was mid-answer to a question. I’ve not heard anything since and no attempt to call back was made. When I tried to call back, there was no response. I presume that means I have been sifted out of the process before my first “interview” was even complete. So far my impressions are of a rather unprofessional hiring process.

      Question 1

So how many are in your current team?
