The recruiter was great, but the interview process is very tricky. Interviewers focused on challenges that this position will face, which are not a part of this position's function but more about the corporate structure/culture. The person who rejected me asked if I would be interested in another position in the same team. When I asked for more detail about this other position, next thing I know, rejection letter from HR.

Question 1
How would you convince colleagues that what you do is useful?
Got a phone call interview, then in person on site with 30 min behavioral and 60 min technical questions which included leetcode and ai questions. This was with a panel 5 of people
I applied online. I interviewed at Cox Automotive in May 2026
Interview
The company used a virtual assistant called Rosie to schedule the interviews. Interview rounds were standard HR Screen, HM interview, and then a panel interview with some team members and cross-functional collaborators. The interviewers were involved and animated, loved to talk about the company and were interested in my background.
The only negative was the silence between interview stages. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times and never got an email back, even when I asked a question.

Question 1
What is your favorite tool to use when solving a problem.
Behavioral seemed to matter a lot more than technical. Both were led by pretty friendly, down-to-earth employees who were reasonably diverse as well. The technical interviewers especially were very accommodating.
