I applied through other source. I interviewed at Cox Automotive in Jul 2026
Interview
This interview was for the LEAD program, I am currently in the second round of interviews as a current intern for the company. The first interview was mostly a recap of the work we have done as current interns and feedback etc. The second was a 2 part- 90 minute interview with the first 45 minutes being behavioral and the second 45 minutes being a case study. This is to see more about how you think critically and how your brain works. Cool questions that surprised me. I think they went very well and I am waiting to hear back now.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you were not in a position of power on a team but you had to convince the team to hear out an idea or go a different direction.
The interview process was pretty intense, honestly. I was interviewed by three people at once, and one of them clearly didn't want to be there, which made the whole thing feel off from the start. It felt less like a conversation and more like I was being stared down the entire time, like they were waiting for me to slip up rather than actually trying to get to know me or see how I'd fit. I never really felt like I was being talked to as an actual person, more like I was under a microscope. Not the most comfortable experience.
3 rounds. One recruiter call, one with the hiring manager and one panel interview with a presentation. The whole process took about a month or a month and a half. They are thorough with their process and detail oriented. Behavioral based questions. They were nice and I enjoyed my time while interviewing. They asked me to prepare a presentation as well. A positive experience overall.
