Highly unprofessional interview process where not even HR knows what they are saying. First HR says it’s 7 to 8 rounds of selection process then, they club those rounds and after clearing those technical rounds with four people, they are not sure. Then for the 5th round they make you sit with an on-site interviewer who has mostly been intern and now a technical resource with bare minimum industry credentials and no knowledge of management. One may wonder how that sounds so here’s what happened.
1. An onsite unprofessional coupa young interviewer who has no management skills or knowledge, takes interview for a management position. I’d refrain myself from mentioning about his name and his childish behavior during whole one and a half hour discussion however, notably his ego gets hurt when candidate appreciates his offshore Indian colleague’s technical knowledge.
2.This onsite interviewer speaks about company’s internal management crisis, losses, dissatisfaction amongst employees, higher attrition rates and his personal struggles with his team and his leadership to a candidate until candidate reminds him not to share this information.
3. The interviewer informs the candidate over conference call about the senior management people who will take final round of discussion and interview gets scheduled next day but after that he changes the positive feedback to negative with irrelevant comments and gets the next round cancelled for reasons unknown.
4. HR representative calls to talk about how it went awry and when HR is requested to review the interview recording and feedback from other interviewers, HR suggests to keep it down and only share positive feedback about company and hiring management so that candidate wouldn’t seem vengeful to company’s management.
I think job aspirants must know about it. Now, It’s been a few weeks and I am just doing them a favor by not mentioning their names in a renowned public platform like Glassdoor.
I wish best of luck to Coupa management because people like this so called interviewer claiming to be security architect, can really compromise the organization’s integrity and security by revealing confidential information.

India offshore technical team is really good and they asked several questions about architecture and technical scenarios.
Again, that on-site interviewer stands 0 out of 10.
