Friendly and informal, bit patronising but no tricky questions. There is a greater demand for experience over qualifications and a lack of qualifications amongst upper management. The interviewers test your knowledge of the processes involved in planning but not your actual knowledge of the buildings you deal with. Nor do they appear interested in your connections in the industry.
The questions asked were easy and simple to answer especially if you have worked in the field previously. You do get the impression that they are looking for younger canditates or those they can mold to their ways though. Alternatively it may be that younger candidates are less fussy about the poor wage scale offered.
