About a week after applying, I received an email asking to schedule a call. It was a brief call discussing the role and what to expect. The tone was casual and the I was only asked a few questions.

What is your availability like? What type of topics do you write about?
Very casual. I had a phone interview to determine my experience and knowledge to see if I would be a good fit for the open positions. They want to know if people are knowledgable about the subject matter and skilled as editors.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ContentWriters (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied through Planted and interviewed with the CEO. I was able to meet with members of the Strategy team as well as Directors of other departments to understand the responsibilities of the role and expectations of teammates. I was given a sales exercise for prospecting and reviewed my assignment with the interviewers. Next steps were communicated clearly at each stage of the process.
