An intern contact me for an interview. That led to a phone interview with someone in HR. The interview felt rushed even though they had asked for a 45 minutes, so I got cut off on a few answers to their questions because of "timing" when it had been only 10 minutes.

Each candidate interviewed is asked the same series of questions (specific to the role) however, the length of these initial conversations vary greatly depending on the applicant.
