This company moved very quickly on recruitment process. From the day the internal recruiter first called me to the day the job was offered took only 3 full days. After the two rounds of initial discussion with recruiter, she arranged for two technical rounds of 1 hour each in fact on the same day and the next day I was interviewing with 6 other people onsite in their office in San Francisco.
Four out of those six were remote so the discussion happened on video from their office itself. It was more of a casual discussion with three of these people who were trying to grasp my background in detail and see how I can fit in this role. They also seemed like pretty laid back and relaxed.
The other three were quite technical and asked me some questions as to specific scenarios on Databases from Performance optimizations and Monitoring to Data Recoveries. They are trying to move a lot of their stuff from their private data centers on to cloud so it would help if you have prior work experience on cloud, esp. on AWS services. Everyone in general were quite accepting and would be good peers to get along with.
They offered me an extremely competitive package (beyond the higher end of the range prevalent in the market for such roles); unfortunately I had to decline.
