The process from my initial call to getting an interview is very quick. I had stayed up until very late to fill in all my details and forms quickly because the HR requested it to be done a day before the interview, and I was only informed of the interview the very same day. But the hiring managers didn't care to read those details and forms at all, they haven't even received my resume when I did my interview, I ended up being asked questions that are not relevant to my background and experience, it was rather awkward. Though the position I was applying for is not full-on code developer, they only asked me questions related to very detailed technical coding on languages which I have less experienced on, and no questions related to my other skills on different languages/framework or my other project experience and accumulated skills. It was clear that they were not keen on my background once they finally read my resume in the middle of interview. Since I submitted my resume thinking I can be a good fit for the job description, it was a disappointing experience that the interview only focused on one part of the job description and nothing else. Plus if they really think only that one part is the most important, they should know before they arrange for interview, if they read from my resume and forms.. I finished feeling very down as the whole time, they only focused on the stuff that I already highlighted in my form that I have less experience on.
