The whole process was 7 interviews. It was very exhausting, repetitive, same questions being asked by different people and a big, pretty forced 'wooow coinbase is so amazing and we hire only top-notch people' brainwash-style ideology. Their philosophy is that they only hire people who they feel are better than themselves, people that can bring something from day 1 and ALL of the interviewers have to agree (This was posted by their CEO on their blog). This brings a pretty hostile 'dog-eat-dog' atmosphere and I actually didn't feel comfortable with this nor did the interviewers appeared to be as well.
Well, after all the interviews here and there (aprox. 2 months) they ghosted me. After a while, I decided to send a mail asking for a feedback and 10 days later a generic 'no' email was sent to me. I tried to ask for a more detailed feedback but just got ghosted, but they had the courage to request a feedback from me instead...Unbelievable! In the end I'm actually glad I did not join the company, seems pretty toxic.
