Codesmith Software Engineer interview questions

In order to become a student I was asked a series of javascript questions. They were pretty easy. The final question was the "Balancing Brackets" question. I I like the interview the guy was cool.

Waste of Time They have you do a take-home test that takes longer than the suggested time. They then ghost you after saying they have received your submission. Companies only do this because candidates put up with this. I implore you to not put up with these take-home assignments; I was able to get other job offers even in a Pandemic without doing take-home assignments. Actually one of which I received thanks to this take-home assignment. I got some fresh React experience from this assignment that helped when I was receiving React questions for a different interview that led to a job offer. So, do the assignment if you want a job from a different company? ;)
