I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Washington, DC) in Aug 2011
Interview
Extremely easy. Submitted resume, phone interview, approval. Drug test, sign the contract. It kind of felt like a call center or factory job with the ease of getting an offer. They were very rigid about getting the drug test within 24 hours of the phone interview (it was a weekend, so that was difficult). I actually was living in NJ at the time and relocated to DC for the job (no moving expense offer). The woman that interviewed me on the phone was not even in the department I would be in, just a simple HR interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.

Interview
The interview was very professional and they really need you to know the role and company inside out they want a background on your experience as well and im not sure what else
Basic interview, that lasted one or two instances. Shadowed researcher and made some calls with the interviewer. The whole process was quick and lasted less than a month, average difficulty overall for the process.
