      Interview

I applied through an online portal and got a call directly from the HR, who was nice and helpful in explaining about the company & the interview process. 1st Round was an application development task: I had to build a trello like kanban board and I was given about 1 day to complete it. This had to be done in pure vanilla javascript. The task wasn't anything interesting or even useful like some other companies usually give, but I still completed it spending a good 4-5 hours of my personal time. 2nd Round was a code review round: In this task they assembled a panel to look at the code from the last round and they didn't give me any clear feedback on whether they liked it or not, and asked me a lot of subjective question which had no objective answers. No algo or DS round were taken until then and no questions regarding modern frontend technologies like React/Vue/Redux. Overall this round was bad in terms of interviewers not telling me whether what I wrote for 4-5 hours was good enough or not. Otherwise it was okayish.

      Interview

First, you can get one basic hr call to know your interest and see if you are good fit for the position. Interview process consists of 3 technical rounds - 1st round mostly had React based questions where you probably given some sort of small components to create - 2nd round was mostly javascript medium to advanced questions with some React's advanced questions - 3rd round is Hiring manager round where your manager can ask you some 1-2 algo based questions and mostly on your past experiences, achievements and next goals etc

      Question 1

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ClearTax (Bengaluru)

      Interview

Had an hour long interview for the Frontend Engineer role. The interviewer mostly focused on React basic and advance concepts. I answered all correctly which am very sure of. There was one question where i answered correct but he didnt accept that as he felt thats a wrong answer but later I checked on the react docs to make sure and I was correct but you cant just force your interviewer to change his answer if you realy want a good review to move to the next round so I didn't press much on that. Apart from that everything that he asked was answered and he accepted all. The interviewer had joined recently as he mentioned. After that there were no communications from the HR so i reached out to them and they had no idea so asked to wait for a callback. Later again i had to reach back where I got the feedback that i had little knowledge on the domain. So overall it wasn't the experience that i was expecting for this interview.
