My interviewer was terrible. The whole phone call, she sounded like she’d rather be doing something else rather than the interview. She asked if I had any certifications. I have it listed on my resume. After I told her about it, she said that she now noticed it on my resume. She couldn’t even be bothered to skim my resume before the call? She told me the hours would be in Eastern Standard time, and if I would be OK with that. I asked her what the working Eastern Standard time hours would be. She didn’t answer and tried changing the subject. I had to re-ask her before she admitted that she did not know as the job had a rotating schedule. She then followed this up with, “Are you OK with being on call for this position?” Red flags everywhere. The original job posting did not mention that the job was in EST, had a rotating schedule, and required you to be on call. The interviewer’s lack of preparation and checked out vibe sealed it for me. I told her I was no longer interested. Apply elsewhere.
