I applied online. I interviewed at Civic Influencers
Interview
Requested multiple hoops and unnecessary barriers to prove value, despite being overly qualified with a demonstrated track record of success. Multiple rounds. Initial offer that was extended was below the range posted.

Interview
Three rounds, but timeline kept shifting. Was told it would only be three before contacting my references, but then was asked to do two more - which would have resulted in 5 interviews total.

Question 1
In my third interview with the CEO, he asked somewhat irrelevant questions, such as languages I speak & what was the average class size at my college. I've been out of school for over a decade; why did that matter? He kept interrupting me and kept asking if I could actually handle the role. There was no cheer, no joy, or passion in these interviews. The CEO kept insisting I should be ready to work weekends and holidays, but that Civic Influencers is "a family". It felt creepy and like a major red flag. The whole experience was odd and condescending. I was glad to receive another job offer so I could end that insanity.

Interview
I was taken through four rounds of interviews - the last meeting with the team I'd be supervising - and was a finalist (or possible even the only finalist) for the position and then ghosted. Three days later, without a word from anyone at the org, the position was reposted to Idealist. They didn't even have the courtesy to send me a form email to tell me I was no longer under consideration.
