I've done over 100 interviews, and this was by far the worst. The hiring manager (HM) from Canada barely listened, constantly interrupted, and seemed fixated on hearing specific answers rather than valuing different perspectives. When I asked a clarifying question, he became defensive and confrontational. It was clear he had zero patience or interest in engaging meaningfully. Thankfully, I found a much better job right after—better pay, benefits, and most importantly, a manager who respects dialogue.
