I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Check Point Software Technologies (Redwood City, CA) in Apr 2020
Interview
HR screening first, followed by a moderately challenging Excel test.
I passed and was scheduled for a in-person interview with the hiring manager over scheduling.
His inability to compromise should've been a red light.
When I arrived for the in-person interview on time, he was 15 minutes late. Completely unapologetic.
His tone and posture demonstrated a lack of interest. His line of questioning about why I was currently working at an internship should've been brought up in a phone interview if that was such a big issue for him.
His attitude was hardly professional; more like a spoiled authoritarian who is used to getting his way or its the highway.
I cannot speak for the other departments here, but if its finance are still working under this individual--don't bother applying here.
Some interviews are bad because they're not planned well, or because HR treated you like a number. In this case? The hiring manager was a horrible human being.
