I applied online. Then had a phone interview with a panel of 6 interviewers via phone. All behavioral questions and the typical question: why should we hire you/what skills will you bring to this position. I received an offer 4 weeks after the interview.

Got an email and interviewed immediately. HR process is long and slow, still have not been fully onboarded. God a TO the same week as the interview, still waiting on the FO. I have heard it can take 6 months to a year and a half to fully onboard.

I highly recommend researching the job series you're applying for, especially if you're new to the government hiring system. This can put you on a career track that's difficult to switch as you advance in the agency. For example, my background is in science, but not understanding fully the career projection of a PHA, I'm having a difficult time switching from operational management role to a more technical role. Do your research.
