I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at CPB Contractors (Brisbane) in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview process was simple, a project manager asked what I can bring to the table as a graduate and how much I value safety. The interview was mainly describing how the graduate program was run and how the 2-year rotations worked.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I got asked how I have handled a problem with my team and what did I learn from it.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CPB Contractors (Sydney) in Dec 2020
Interview
The interview was fairly standard, however, I had a panel interview with a few employees from various departments. They asked the general questions regarding company values, desire to work for CPB, what I can bring to the role, any past experiences and some university questions about subjects and learnings. The interview process was fairly casual and there was no unexpected questions. I feel that it would be good to keep a eye on their projects and talk about your interests within those projects too.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (more centred towards the types of projects you will be doing rather than role oriented)
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at CPB Contractors (Sydney) in Feb 2019
Interview
3 stages. Telephone, online, face to face. Telephone was general. Basic info verification. Online was a test. Once you clear that you go face to face. Face to face was straight forward. Not much one can ask a graduate to do.
