      Account Executive Interview

      22 Feb 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bucketlist

      Interview

Overall, the hiring process wasn’t bad however you could tell that the interview process was a bit disorganized. (It’s a bit funny because they sell software for HR.) The reason why I’m rating my overall experience as negative is because: 1. I was supposed to have my second interview with the CEO, however CEO double booked and was not able to attend. They didn’t notify me that he couldn’t make it but it’s okay because I had a great chat with their sales rep. 2. I also felt like the interview process was extremely repetitive because I had to explain about my employment history during all 3 interviews even though they all took notes during each call. 3. Lastly, for the last interview, they gave me 1 evening to create a 20 minutes presentation. I don’t mind a challenge however I felt like they could’ve planned it a bit better to give me more time to prepare. The CEO wasn’t really welcoming during the call, the moment I jumped on my last call, I could tell that I wasn’t going to get the job after speaking with him. He was also asking me the exact same basic questions that I already talked about during the first two interviews. I felt like he wasn’t prepared for the call as well. 4. Also, I had to wait over 2 weeks to hear back about whether I got the job or not. I’ve sent multiple emails following up because I was curious but they kept on delaying the answer. Just as feedback for this business - It’s not a good practice to keep your candidates waiting for over 2 weeks about the status of their application. Thankfully, I had another offer because who else will wait 2 weeks just to hear back whether the company hired you or not? Lol I really felt like it was a “boys club”. Not a single female interviewed me. Most of their employees are males. I felt like that was the reason why they didn’t bring me on board. I don’t think they have a very inclusive culture and it’s unfortunate because they sell software to help retain employees and for employee recognition. I think they have a lot of things to work on.
