The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BrainCreators (Amsterdam) in Sept 2024
Interview
I had a really bad experience with this company. The first interview was pretty long, mostly focused on why I applied and other basic HR questions. After that, they gave me a technical test where I had to code something using React, and they gave me a week to complete it. The test was super vague and difficult, and there weren’t enough instructions. When I emailed them for clarification, they just said, "Do it however you want."
I spent a whole week writing all the code with tests, and in the end, I got an automated rejection email. I asked for feedback on why I was rejected, and they said I didn’t fully complete the test, even though both the tech lead and the recruiter had told me to do it however I wanted.
Overall, it was a really bad experience and felt like a waste of time. Don’t make the same mistake I did!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They started with the usual basic questions, like "Why did you apply for this job?" and "What’s your take on machine learning?" Then they asked about expected salary and some super basic technical questions.
