Holy cow. I was told to make a bouquet and then it's as of I feel off the face of the earth. I would try to get the shop owners attention in different ways: leaning into her field of vision, waving, you name it. Finally she asks if I'm done and we head to her office. The first thing she tells me is that I took way too long. Cool. She doesn't ask me anything about my work experience, just tells me that I'm asking for way too much hourly and she doesn't even pay her current employees what I'm asking. Bold, but still cool. That's fine, I have a job for three out of the four seasons and I'm looking for something to fill the winter time and if I like it I'll switch to full time. I just want to try something else because I'm tired of working in the hot summers carrying 50 pounds of dirt. I'd like to work in a controlled environment. She tells me they still carry heavy stuff! (she doesn't, she has one boy that she orders around) She tells me to humble myself, and that I should keep my current job and not to take anything personal because she's "only being honest" yikes. She also told me I don't fit the aesthetic of the store. One of those people. I'm really rude and I guise it as honesty and it's in your benefit. I tell her I'm looking for seasonal work and she tells me to ask my boss. What a novel idea. I NEVER thought of that! I told her it's hard for now because I don't have hours and she asked me to think about my boss and what HE'S going through. My boss just purchased a new home. He's fine. She said she struggles as well she has to work six days, all the time. (Literally rubbing her hours in my face) So she's really rude and doesn't listen. That's all I needed to experience. She then offered me a job at her husbands restaurant. What a bizarre woman from Massachusetts.
