Structured...initial was through retained agency. I declined going forward because it was a contract position. He came back and said they would look at me as full time employee. The next 2 sets of interviews were about a half day each going through 4-5 people in dept.

      Interview

My interviewing experience here was extremely disappointing and it drastically changed my opinion of the brand and its products. I was asked to do a "homework assignment" (case study) that required more than a couple of hours of unpaid work. Did they make the CEO or executive leadership complete homework assignments? I doubt it. Progressive companies like Google, Apple, Amazon, Sonos, and Harman don't ask this of their candidates, but evidently, Bose prefers to stand above the tech industry and exert arrogance. Bose expects its potential candidates to do free work, but does not provide any feedback to their candidates after they spend substantial time working on a requested assignment from their hiring / recruiting manager. How does that show empathy, respect, or compassion for prospective employees? Hint: IT DOESN'T. Apple, Google, Amazon, Sonos, and Harman don't ask their candidates to do work for free, but if they did, they would certainly provide feedback to candidates, especially Google. This may also explain why these companies are far more successful and progressive than Bose. It may also explain why Bose has lost market share to these companies. #fact
